Words Of Inspiration (#190)

I just woke up with an ounce of energy, renewed faith and belief. I’m pretty sure it has nothing to do with the “new month, new blessings” theme but call it whatever you want to call it, I’m here full of humility and smiles.

First quarter of the year is done and you may want to assess yourself and see whether you’ve lived up to those expectations you had for yourself prior to the beginning of the year. An honest assessment should be able to determine whether you need to do more, do less or keep @ the same pace.

Also, I hope the message of “forgiveness” has grown within you with the resurrection of Christ in the past day. Grudges to me are very unnecessary. We may disagree on an opinion or action but to develop hostility and enmity towards each other defeats the purpose of humanity.

In fact, from a Christian point of view it violates the “Love your neighbour as yourself” commandment. We sometimes allow certain actions of mere significance come between us and believe me people have suffered worse.

Jesus suffered the betrayal of Judas and denial of Peter leading up to his crucifixion. The complexities of those two events should have given us a wake up call if anything to see past these mere grudges that really should not be given power to divide us.

There is a strong lesson in forgiveness. That lesson is learning to accept the fact that although you were wronged, you are willing to look past it as such a wrong doing would and should not have a bearing on who you are, where you are going, and what you are destined to become.

Also, more than anything, unless the crime committed involves death, we’re complaining and whining over nothing. However the circumstance maybe, let’s learn to tolerate and live with each other. Man is mortal and prone to mistakes, if you can understand that, then you can understand why God alone deserves our trust.

May this second quarter of the year bring you much joy, happiness and success in all your endeavours, but most importantly, may it bring a feeling of love and unity amongst us.
